The Fayette Area Community Development Corporation
The CDC was established in 2012 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for the purpose of assisting the city and county in the advancement of economic opportunities and, among other specific goals, identifying and protecting historic landmarks.
The CDC is governed by an elected twelve member board that meets quarterly while active working committees meet regularly as needed.
The CDC is involved in several community projects, including the restoration of the Historic Downtown Fayette Hotel, and the Rails to Trails project. You can read more about these two project on their respective pages.
