Rails to Trails | fayetteareacdc

The Rails to Trails project will encompass approximately 2.5 miles of walking and biking trail along the old rail bed that runs along the edge of downtown Fayette. This project is a joint venture between the CDC and the City of Fayette. Grants totaling more than $100,000 have already been secured that will enable us to get the property appraised so that we may move forward with the purchase of the rail bed. We are already in the planning stages for how the trail will be constructed and managed.
